Nicole Fisher

Nicole Fisher knows no fear. Whether it’s riding her Kawasaki Ninja flat out along the Great Ocean Road, playing thumping house music to 15,000 festivalgoers, or sparring mischievously with bike-loving highway patrols, our flame-haired marketing coordinator has the chutzpah to take on any new challenge.

So when it came to jumping on the C-Series, there was no holding Nicole back. A quarter-minute later, the bike was down at the end of Stanley Street, nudging 70kph. Her verdict? “Unbelievable. Going from a Ninja 300 to this beast – I’m totally hooked! And the cornering and handling are amazing. For a big, heavy bike, she’s super-responsive and easy to ride.”

Nicole regards all bikes as ladies. “Just like cars and boats,” she says. For a well-spoken young lady herself, she has the adventurous spirit of someone who’s been around the block many times. It’s a spirit that makes her a natural storyteller, and a social media wizard whose irreverent posts have 140,000 Insta and Tik-Tok followers rushing to discover what the “ginger with a Ninja” was up to last weekend.

Like many of the Savic crew, Nicole grew up in a motorbike saddle. Her dad put her on his ZX-6R aged five, then took her for a ride at 10 – “and I was in love”. At 25, she finally got her licence, and has been on her Ninja ever since. When she’s not on weekend rides with her local motorcycle group, Nicole can still be found going flat-out: on her feet. In recent years, she’s completed four marathons, and is currently training for a triathlon – with an ironman competition next in line.

Nicole has also starred on reality TV, DJ’d at several A-list events including the Australian Open and the Grand Prix, and performed her unique mash of house, big room and party music at festivals from Tokyo to Delhi, Kathmandu to Mumbai. She’s also worked in sales and events for major supermarkets and fashion brands. But when she started scattering her special blend of ‘Pixzie Dustt’ on social media, it opened up a whole new avenue for “making magic online”.

Of course, with her motorcycle addiction, it wasn’t long before Nicole found Savic – and before Dennis and Sam gave her a tryout in the marketing department, where she quickly found her feet. “From the moment I saw the C-Series in action, my jaw was on the floor,” she says. “The style and story of this bike – I’m obsessed with her. I know many people have preconceived ideas about electric bikes, but I say to them: I used to think that way myself. But not any longer. Just give her a go, and I’m pretty sure you’ll be converted too.”
